APP Art in Public Places project

We are beginning a project to produce 3D images of public art.

https://bdnewnan.sketchfab.me/work

The above link shows my current work to image sculptures of Charles Umlauf and Elisabet Ney and others in Austin Texas.

We are seeking other public art displays to capture using Recap 360 and then loaded into Sketchfab for the display.

All public art is welcomed but care should be taken not to violate copyrights.

I have taken some 6000 photographs to produce this work.  The latest is the Willie Nelson sculpture in Austin.

Is there any way to broadcast information about Art in Public Places to interested members of Recap 360.  In mid-January we should be able to accept uploads or links of 3D images of Public Art to Art in Public Places.  This effort is the first to show our 3D work into posterity and to conserve public art giving proper recognition to those who capture the art.  Please join me in supporting this work. If you have interest, contact me at bdnewnan@austin.rr.com to add your name to the contact list. to see more information about Art in Public Places see this link:

Those of use who capture cultural art should be interested in this project.  No commercial use, but good name recognition.  Get your cameras going and capture human endeavor. Thanks. contact me at  bdnewnan@austin.rr.com

To see the public art I have captured, see:

thanks very much, Brian Newnan of Austin Texas
