Simple Particle Flow Question

Hi There

I have a scene set up that uses a spehere linked to a dummy as the particle geometry object. (I did this so i could add an offset spin to represent a bubble oscilating)

I want to have the sphere start of at a diameter of 2.0mm as it leaves the PF Source and reduce to 0.1mm by the time it reaches the target box

You will see what I mean if you have a look at the attached file. (its a max design 2015 file)

Would be really greatful for some advice

Thanks

James

Look into the scale operator in pflow you can have the scale reduce and increase over time and you could  then use a scale test to send it to another event to stop the scale. You can also keyframe the scaling.

Hi James,
I put a Scale operator in your scene.
Then enabled the Autokey button in 3ds Max.
Drag time slider to frame 0.
Select Scale operator and set its x, y, z values to 100 %.
Drag time slider to frame 100 and set scale values to 9 or something small.
Now the particles scale smaller as they approach the box in your scene.

Not sure if that's exactly what you want but you'll get an idea of how to use
it when opening attached scene called : VishnuParticle system 2.max

Best Regards
