Elastic Link Object Cluster

I saw nice animation from universaleverything with AOL project. It's really impressive with the cluster of objects following each other. Here's the video link on vimeo:

http://www.vimeo.com/12051077

I wonder how to do the animation in the clip from 03:19 to 04:12.

The Objects bouncing with the elastic lines. It's so difficult! :(

Hope anyone can help me!

Thanks.

It does look like some kind of Pflow effect, possibly using some toolbox plugins. The lines between the particles could be something like the Particle spline plugin that has been around for a while. It draws a spline between particles, though I can't get it to work with Pflow for some reason. It may have been done with some scripting to do the same kind of effect.

Thank you, Samab. I'll try to follow your guide. The Particle Spline is nice.
