VIEW Conference, now at its 8th edition, is the most important CG event in Italy. It takes place in the northern Italian city of Torino (yes, the one where the 2006 Winter Olypmics took place), a city easily reachable from most european locations.
VIEW features numerous top level speakers (e.g. the Keynote, Gelnn Entis of Electronic Arts, was keynote at SIGGRAPH 2007) , movie screenings, tech talks, meetings with CG companies and so on. You can see the complete program on the event website, click on the link
This year for the first time VIEW also icludes a series of maseterclasses offered by some of the most important companies in the field, such as Autodesk, Nvida and XSI. You can view the specific autodesk program in click on the link
VIEW is completely free of charge, the only requirement is registration on the website.
