Starting with VBA or C#

I need to develop a program which gets data from Autocad and saves these data to Excel, Access or a database and then uses them for calculation for my M.S thesis. I don't know how to begin. I have no much experience in programming languages and i must learn. My first problem is to choose language to learn: VBA or C# ? What are the advantages and disadvantages of them comparing with each other?
