speed improvement to VB ?

how much ARX is fater than VB ? ( compiled to DLL)

I tried to learn ARX but don't know how can it improve existing project..

Are you talking VB, VB .NET, or VBA?

ARX is going to usually be much faster than VBA (especially in 64bit ACad where VBA is basically run as a second process outsite of ACad where you have the interprocess communication bottle neck).

The difference between ARX and VB .NET is not as great even though ARX will still usually be a little faster. VB .NET is definitely easier to support (or find people to support it) and has been fast enough for the large programs we've written. (Just for an example in Civil3D, Autodesk thought .NET was fast enough to support the subassembly paradigm).
