You must use Visual Studio .NET 2002 to develop ObjectARX applications for
AutoCAD 2006 (there are techniques floating around which will let you use
the 2003 IDE, debugger, etc., but you still need the right version of MFC
and C++ runtime). For AutoCAD 2007, Visual Studio 2005 must be used.

Here are downgrade details from Microsoft:
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/vstudio/aa700899.aspx

If you're willing to use just the .NET APIs, you can use any version of
Visual Studio which supports .NET.

Shaik:

You need Visual Studio 2002 for developing with ObjectARX 2006. The only
way I know to get a legal license is to join MSDN
(http://msdn.microsoft.com). MSDN subscribers can download Visual Studio
2002 from the MSDN download center. 🙂
