Fatal error : unable to build ObjectArx2010 or 2012

Hi 

I am trying to build the ArxDbg sample from ObjectARx2010 with VS2008 (SP1) and from ObjectArx2012 with Visual Studio 2010 (also SP1) ON both I get a similar error relating to type_traits file missing.

This is the VS2008 one - fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'type_traits': No such file or directory

I have seen that some people said it relates to the VS Service Pack - but I ran windows update and all is up to date.

Any ideas ?

You need to install service pack 1 for Visual Studio 2008, not Windows.

I knew that - for some reason something went wrong with the VS2008 SP installation and I had not noticed it.

I ran it again and it works, I have read your other replys regarding that, I guess I'd have to say thanks for your persistence.
