entity not drawn

hi guys,

could anyone please help. I have loaded a curve from a sat file, but when I save the entity into database, the spline curve is not shown on the graphic window. However, when I save the entity in a dwg file and reload the file again, then the spline is shown on the graphic window. could anyone please tell me which function to call to avoid such problem?

Try open with kForWrite flag, call draw() and recordGraphicsModified() method and close() it. Message was edited by: Alexander Rivilis

It sounds like you may be neglecting to close the spline after adding it to the database. Are you calling "close()" on the spline after adding it to the database?

I have tried that.It doesn't work. I issue regen & regen all commands, the spline is not shown. If your guys want, I can sent your guys the file for testing.

However, if you load the ArxDbgd (sample codes for debug database), the spline is there. I need to try diffferent way to check. I use autocad 2007 for the application. The data seems ok to me.

Post your's code. Without it is difficult to understand what wrong in code. Are you trying add spline to non-current document? If Yes - set it current before adding spline and switch to previous after.
