Which is the best way to ...

HI,
I am studying .net in AutoCAD. I have been programming with VBA + CAO+ ADO in AutoCAD for more than 5 years. To my understanding, .Net in 2006 is pretty staright foward: create dll and netload it. but how about 2004/2005 and earlier version? I can use Interop to talk with COM in .NET, but How I can run it because there are no netload?
Does this mean I have to create a dvb file, reference to the .NET DLL, talk to .NET DLL in CCW way? Am I correct?
Any idea? I really appreciate your help.

Personally I would just continue using VBA. With 2005 there is a .NET API & NETLOAD command. The API is very limited though.
