I had wondered the same Oleg.

I hope he is well and thriving.

The forums have lost that special feeling of knowing that if you haphazardly posted some piece of crap code that you would be ripped a new one.  I hope he hasn't retired and gone into seclusion....

It's amazing that with all the controversy he raised with his personality, his contributions are so highly valued.

I've missed his comments here lately too and hope to hear from him again soon.

In the mean time it would be nice to have a temporary substitute. I nominate Kerry Brown.

Options:

1 - working on projects with no time to post

2 - health (as you say, hopefully good)

3 - doesn't like board format

4 - banned by moderators for ground rules violations (excellent programming knowledge, but the rules apply to everybody)

You can cross # 4 off your list.  No ban on our part (yet - hahaha).

I'm afraid I don't have the knowledge, temperament or patience to do the task.

... besides, I'm probably a little too belligerent and intolerant of incompetence to suit some people:)

No skin off my nose if I don't ever get raped by his ego anymore. He's a great coder, but he is so narcissistic he is probably busy in front of a mirror and can't be bothered with mortals anymore.

Good post Oleg, I hope he is well. Coding is so frustrating without a little help and Tony has given so much help.

Thanks, Bryco, friend

I too miss on Tony - without him the forum is similar to an octave

without the nice wine...

Has no one heard from Tony?  Even just an update on where he's gone & what he's doing instead would be good...

I've sent e-mail to him  but just a silence from there, it's sadly, yeah?

A while back I contacted him about purchasing AcadXtabs with powertools

There was a bug he working out and on the web site http://www.caddzone.com/acadxtabs/AcadXTabs2010.htm

I see it has been released.

I will try to contact him again about purchasing it and I hope he replies.

If someone does not respond to receiving money I doubt they will respond to much else.

Not to sound like a stalker but does anyone know him well enough to get hold of him through facebook?  If you find him on there then you may be able to find a contact of a friend that could enlighten the group.  I myself was impressed with his level of help.  Tough love maybe? 😉   Any way he was a main player on here, so what gives?

My name is Martin.. 😄

It's another celebrity death match, Tony Tanzillo VS. Jerry Winters..

Do you think he is writing a book so he can catch up to Jerry?  Smiley Wink

I communicated with him sometime last year about ordering AcadXtabs and those tools that came with it, and he was working out a bug with it.

But there still is no order Link and e-mailed him about a week ago about it with no response.

Maybe Autodesk got tired of stealing his stuff and hired him.

It is the other way around Jerry has alot of work to catch up with Tony

As long as speculation continues, given that his latest post appears to have been shortly before newsreader access was shut down, it seems very likely that's at least the original reason for his absence...

It looks like he has simply vanished. http://www.caddzone.com/ resolves to parking page - it expired on May 12th, 2011.

So long and thanks for all the tips, Tony.
