what happened to Autodesk.AutoCAD.GraphicsInterface.WorldGeometry2 in 2012?

I switched managed dll references on a project to 2012 ones, and this class came up missing.

Its there in 2009, I backchecked.

I use it to draw text to the screen

Using the object browser on the object arx libraries, it looks like .WorldGeometry2 was removed in the change over from 2009 to 2010. The change from 2009 to 2010 was a major version change. Version 17.2 to 18.0.

From the 2009 object arx documentation the Autodesk.AutoCAD.GraphicsInterface.WorldGeometry2 class extends the Autodesk.AutoCAD.GraphicsInterface.WorldGeometry class. Looking at the 2010 documentation it look like the 2010  Autodesk.AutoCAD.GraphicsInterface.WorldGeometry class contains the methods that the Autodesk.AutoCAD.GraphicsInterface.WorldGeometry2 contained in 2009.

If you check out the 2010 Object Arx Migration guide, the underlying ARX objects of AcGiWorldGeometry2 have been merged into AcGiWorldGeometry.

I see, the text method is member of the geometry object it inherits from.

I miss that so often, some property or method buried in the base type.

I wish I could have the object browser list all props, methods, events at once in one list if desired.

thanks for the reply
