Vpoint in .NET

Hi,
I like to have a function, just like VPoint command in ModelSpace. But I am lost in the ViewportTableRecord and Viewport. What's the difference between them.
I found said in VBA group about Viewport.ViewDirection. but I did not get my code work.
Does anybody have any idea how to do that? I realy appreciate your help.

Update: I found: CurrentViewportObjectId but only work with PaperSpace.
