Type 'AutoCAD_VB_plug_in.My.MySettings' not defined error

Hello,

I am new to .net programming for AutoCAD. In my system AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011 is installed.

As per the instrution in the "My First Plug-in Training" of autodesk, I did the installation of
- VS2008Exprees,
- objectarx_2011 _wizard and
- autocad_2010-2012_dotnet_wizards

As soon as create a new project, I find the following 2 errors.
- Type 'AutoCAD_VB_plug_in.My.MySettings' not defined.

- 'AutoCAD_VB_plug_in' is not a member of '<Default>'.

Why I am getting these errors? Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi Rajesh,

Can you try the VB.Net samples from the training labs for AutoCAD ?

These also have VB.Net projects that can be built using VS 2008 and run on AutoCAD 2011.

"The self-paced AutoCAD.NET training labs for AutoCAD."

http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?id=1911627&siteID=123112

If the sample labs build ok, then there must be something specific to your project that is causing the error.

Sorry, I do not know exactly what is causing it but you can try right-click on the project and checking the "Settings" as the error seems to come from there.
