Tool for patching Xref in DWG file

Hi,

I have to migrate 100,000 cad drawings to an electronic content management system.

For this migration I need to patch the ablolute Xref paths with the relative paths.

I want to create a tool that can load drwaings one by one and patch the references.

In all AutoCad examples I have noticed that the .Net dll ahs to be loaded into the a ACAD instance and then your custom dll can work on the open drawing only.

Is there any possibility to open cad drawings form the file system and patch reference one by one in a .Net applciation?

Can you change the the path from full to relative in the xref manager ?

Sorry I found it with ClassicXref command I thought you were talking about the xref pallette which I don't think you can

By the way they are removing it from future releases
