Ok folks, brand new to autocad map3d 2015 development.  I go an add a reference to the following:

C:\Autodesk\ObjectARX 2015\inc\AcCoreMgd.dll

C:\Autodesk\ObjectARX 2015\inc\AcDbMgd.dll

C:\Autodesk\ObjectARX 2015\inc\AcMgd.dll

Then I set the reference to "Copy Local" equal to false to all 3 above.  Then I type at the top of the page:

using Autodesk.AutoCAD.DatabaseServices;

I attempt to compile and I receive: "The type or namespace 'Autodesk' could not be found".  Which points to this line:

using Autodesk.AutoCAD.DatabaseServices;

With a squiqqly line around Autodesk.  What am I missing?  Thanks before hand.

Problem solved!

Here is the solution in case someone is interested.

1. Click on project properties.

2. Under the 'Application' tab, change the "Target Framework" from .Net Framework 4.0 to .Net Framework 4.5

Everything works and compiles now.
