Suppress Dialog Layer - Excess Layer Filters - Dialog Showing Event

Hello,

Any ideas how I can suppress the dialog "Layer - Excess Layer Filters". I am running a script across hundreds of drawings and many of the drawings launch this dialog. There is no option of always do this option. So I was hoping to find a dialog showing event. Similar to the one in the Revit api.

I know how to erase the layer filters. I am looking to suppress the dialog.

Thanks very much

David

Hi,

>> I am looking to suppress the dialog.
If you start the command with a leading dash, then the layerdialog will not appear:
_-LAYER

I don't know about an event, but since you say you are scripting, you can set LAYERFILTERALERT to 0 for no action, or 1, to automatically delete layer filters without prompting.

Excelent, I didn't know the variable LAYERFILTERALER existed.

Thanks very much

David
