Selecting a 3D Polyline

Hi, I'm new to AutoCAD .NET and I want to know how to:

1) Prompt the user to select a 3D polyline from the drawing and raise an error if he/she selects another objet;
2) Once the 3d polyline is selected, how can I retrieve the coordinates (x,y,z) of all the vertices connecting the polyline?
