Searching files In Vault from Autocad

I am trying to search for file in Vault from AutoCAD using Interop.

Is there any way to do so..?

Can you please provide more details on what you want to perform in Vault and the setup (like you are inside an AutoCAD plug-in OR you are in a .NET application etc)?

My first look at your question hints me that question is specific to Vault API and not related to AutoCAD API.

My intention is to checkout a file from Vault using AutoCAD API.

I do not want to checkout a file directly from VAULT using its API and i am successful in doing so.

I have a filename which will be the input to my program i need to search for that file in Vault and then chkout using the API exposed in AutoCAD to access Vault.

Now temporarily i am directly sending the vault command inside AutoCAD using Sendstringtoexecute and performing my task.

I want to achieve the same using API.

I am open in using COM interop also.

Any suggestion from your side is very helpful.
