Regarding adding Auto Cad Application to windows form in dotnet

hi

i want to add auto cad application or drawing to my windows form

like adding buttons and other control to the form, i want to add auto cad application

i can add a windows player to my form and i can play a viedo file in it

similarly i want to add the auto cad application and open a drawing

in my drawing file i denote few lengths/distance by few notations

and by seeing the drawing file,user will have an idea and he will give the correct input length

by taking these lengths/values i will use them in calculation and i will generate the report to excel

can any one have an idea about it , any helpful links

To perhaps suggest an alternative which would simplify things, I had what seems to be a similar need, to ask the user to provide certain dimensions, which sort of needed a visual aid rather than a text prompt to help the user get the right values in the right places. I just did a simple Acad view of the part with dimensions on it, then took a screenshot to use as the BackgroundImage for the form, and I put my Textboxes over the dimension values in the image. see the attached image (only one of several I use). Simple but effective.


BTW, you didn't say what version you are working with, but the code on Kean's site is for 2009 or later.

thanks for your reply.its so help ful

as u said to take image but in my case i could not use it
because first input is no. of outgates basing on this
for different input the drawing will be changed

so i could not use a single image
