RealDWG Save to previous DWG version

With RealDWG SDK 2011, I know it can use the method Database.SaveAs to save DWG file to specified DWG version.

Is there any way to specify DWG version when calling the method Database.Save?

I use RealDWG SDK 2011 to open dwg file, modify the drawing, and save this file. Ideally, I would like to keep the original DWG version so that older version AutoCAD can open it. But it seems the Save method always updates the DWG version to latest one.

Thank you very much for your help!

AFAIK, Database.Save() is not implmeented. You must use SaveAs().

Thank you for your input.

But I am very surprised to hear that. Document.SaveAs will always save to a different file, which is not as efficient as Save.

In my experience, Document.Save works perfectly in RealDWG SDK 2011. I just don't know how to keep the original DWG version when saving old file.
