PyAcad.NET is an Open Source thin wrapper (~200 lines of code) for IronPython 1.1 that embeds a Python engine inside of AutoCAD. This means that AutoCAD can be programmed via IronPython and it's .NET API. PyAcad.NET is still in it's early stages and a lot of examples and such may be broken. With that being said these initial releases will not be pretty nor will they be anything ready for production use. However the hope is to gain interest in this technology and hopefully provide Python as a viable scripting option for AutoCAD.
Downloads are always available from the projects Google Code page (http://code.google.com/p/pyacaddotnet/) and the source is also always available from the projects Subversion repository (http://pyacaddotnet.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/). Please note that if you plan on compiling the code from source you will need the IronPython 1.1 binaries which can be found at IronPython's CodePlex page (http://www.codeplex.com/IronPython)
