Override WorldDraw AEC objects, dimensions,etc

I've been trying to work through essential a diferent way of highlight objects in a drawing.  What is being looking for is all the objects in a drawing being "dimmed" (color changed to light grey) execpt those "highlighted".

The approach I've been looking at with htis is to override the WorldDraw similar to this thread:

http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/net/overrule-attributes-properties-for-complex-objects/m-p/3746878/hig...

However, I've been running in to trouble with "greying" Aec Object (ie walls/spaces/etc).

Can anyone point me in the right direction for these type of objects?

I'm also having some trouble with dimensions relecting the color change.(the "clone" method  does not seem to work for them like Mtext/Leaders).

I've been working with ACA2015x64 with this.

Thanks for any help.

What kind of trouble are you facing on ACA entities?

Are you doing this from ACA or from vanilar AutoCAD?

Well, basically they won't change color.  (I forget off the top of my head if they stay the same or if they disappear.  I will look in a bit).

As i mentioned, I'm using ACA2015x64 (Autocad Architecture 64-bit).

Thanks
