Open a dwg without editor

Hi!

I dont know if i can do that i want.

I want to access to a database of a drawing
without open the drawing.

Once it was possible in VB6 with objectdbx and
Autocad running, but now, with Realdwg and .net, is it possible without to have
a Realdwg license but only Autocad?

If it is possible can someone send a sample
code?

I tried with

    Imports
Autodesk.AutoCAD.DatabaseServices

    Dim db As Database = New
Database(False, False)

but i have a message error for access violation
exception.

You can use DWGdirect at http://opendwg.com/

to write to Autocad Files. and you don't need autocad installed
