Object Browser, API ObjectMode, API Help

Hello Community,

I'm VB.net Inventor API rookie and the only progress i could make so far, was through similiar Examples from the API Help.
I was wondering if there is any other possibility to get all methods/properties/events that are contained in an API Object.
The Visual Basic Object Browser only shows the VB standard objects, no API objects. The API ObjectModel Tree doesn't show

any methods/properties/events and in the API Help you only find a few.
Is there anyway to search for every methods/properties/events of every API object?
Until now i only learned the API methods/properties/events through API Help Examples.
But I'm sure that can not be the only source.

I'm glad about every help.

Greetings
Colli

Well yeah, I accidentally post in this forum instead of the "Inventor Customization Forum".
Thank you

Is there a way to delete this post?

If you want to do a deep dive into an assembly, check out the System.Reflection namespace. It's purpose built for doing this tpye of thing.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.reflection%28v=vs.110%29.aspx

Another choice is to install .Net Reflector. http://www.red-gate.com/products/dotnet-development/reflector/

Yet another. http://www.telerik.com/products/decompiler.aspx (free)

I've used both of these applications, they are well written and professional.

Regards,
