Non-Uniformly scaled block

Hi all,

In one of my application i do exploding some blocks.

Now i got some non-uniformly scaled blocks from user.

Inside the block there is no 3dsolid or unexplodable objects.
Always it has different scale on Z scale only.(for example x=0.5,y=0.5,z=1.0)

Is there is any method to explode this block?

Otherwise to reset the z scale factor?

Please share.

Thanks & Regards,
G

Cant you just set the scale factors to be the same as x or y?

bref.ScaleFactors = new Scale3d(bref.ScaleFactors.X,bref.ScaleFactors.X,bref.ScaleFactors.X);

Do you have elevated lines/text/etc inside the block?  Is the block at a different elevation then the linework inside it?  What are you planning on doing with the block?

If the z scale doesn't factor in, then yeah just leave it at 1 or do what the previous poster said and change it to match the x or y component.
