MLeader has MText?

perhaps it's obvious and I'm just looking right past it..  But is there any way to check if a MLeader has MText?

Are you looking for the MLeader.ContentType property ?

No that just specifies what should be there, not if it is.

or am I misunderstanding that variable?

If MLeader.ContentType equals ContentType.MTextContent, the content is a MText (possibly null or empty), then, check the MText.Text with String.IsNullOrWhiteSpace() method.
