Hi,

I think that you can't import ESRI shape files to Autocad without a plugin , but you can use Autocad Map 3D  user functionality or FDO API, as you are asking to a developers forum. Also any software based on Map 3D like Autodesk Civil 3D will do it .

http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/NET/import-from-Mysql-into-Mtext/m-p/5081834/highlight/true#M40898

in this url  I was learning how to get Mtext into Autocad from Mysql I am finish with it , it is fast and easy to use just query the postcode and insert

but know I want to learn how to get the rest of the map 🙂 from MYSQL

import ESRI shape files or use FDO I have try it and thing it is slow and annoying I want to have more control what I get from the Map like use

query in VB.NET from database
