How to know the dwt or dwg file version.

Hi,

I have a scenario, where I have to create new drawing file using given dwt or dwg file.

But before starting of creating new drawing file, first  I should know the using dwt  file version is same as currently creating drawing file.

Please guide me how I can achieve same.

Regards,

Raman

If everything else fails, it might help that the binary content of a DWG starts with the version token. For example, 2007 DWG starts with characters AC1021. Here you should find some other codes.

Also see the DwgVersion enum. There you can obtain the "Current" component.

Have you considered MaintenanceReleaseVersion?
