How do I find AEC objects inside of an Xref?

Im using VB.net and Im still very new to it.

I'm trying to write some code that will find all AEC Railing objects inside of an Xref'd drawing.

I've got the Xref but I'm not sure what to look for inside of it to find the AEC objects.

If you have some sample code that would be really helpful.

Thanks

Go to one of Tony T replies or you will see it labeled CadZone and go to his website and he has a datbase explorer there are some free ones but his seems alot eaiser to navigate especially if your a new. This will be a great learning tool to see how to pretty much find anything need, I don't know how others do it but a database explorer is one of the best things I use on figuring out how to find certain objects. Try that out and look at the attached pic.

I tried using "Inspector" on the drawing to find the Railing but I was not able to see anything but the basic AutoCad objects in the Xref, no AEC objects. What program is that screen capture from?
