Hatch pattern samples

Hi everybody!

I'm currently searching for a solution to paint hatch pattern samples to a bitmap/picturebox/... by myself. The "behaviour" I'm interested in is the preview-box that is available in the hatch dialog:

Hatch Dialog

Is there any way to create such patterns programmatically?

Regards

I'd be interested in the same solution.  Currently I need to let my users define their own hatches in my user interface outside of AutoCAD, but all i can do is give them a list of the names of the hatches.  The names, of course, are not always intuitive in giving the user an idea of what the hatch looks like.  Seems like we may just have to do a bunch of screen captures of the actual hatch patterns, save them as jpg or bmp images, and create a palette of thumbnails for the user to choose from?
