Hatch as Jig

Merry Christmas everyone.

In my learning AutoCAD .net programming, I think it may be interesting if I can use Hatch as Jig. What I want to do is, I will pick a polygon(pline) in the drawing, then a hatch show up as Jig, and my dialog box show up, I will do something in my dialog box (e.g. change polygon's layer). once I click OK, the layer of polygon get changed and the hatch gone.
Is this a good idea for Jig?
I tried the samples I can find but I still lost in the middle. here is my questions:
1) Ellipse sample derive a class from EntityJig but sample from http://discussion.autodesk.com/thread.jspa?forumID=152&threadID=442505 from DrawJig. so in my case which class should work with?
2) which method should I override?
3) where I can find the documentation about Jig, or even better, a step-by-step tutorial?
