F1 Help Button open CHM Html

Hi

I have got a button that i have changed the F1 to open my open CHM File

The only problem is it opens the file but looks for htm and the files within mine chm are html

Is there any way of telling in to look for the html file and not just htm?

Button.HelpSource = New Uri(Install_Loc)
Button.HelpTopic = "store"

 Basicaly is looks for the location of the help file

and then the name of the page which in the example above is "store"

And then opens the chm file with the store page but at the moment it is doing "store.htm" and not html

Thanks In Advance

James

It sounds like you have an incorrect topic mapping in your help file.

My help file works fine

Its just that the files behind it have been compiled as HTML and not htm

We have tested it by chnaging one of the pages to be htm to see if it would work and it does it opens on the correct page
as it is now a htm file

Its just adding the extension .htm on the end of the topic and i want it to add html

or its the only option to convert all the pages to htm ?

Other things to try:

1) Add the .html extension to your topic string.

2) Create or correct your help file's keyword/topic map.

Thanks

Have just had a look at that

If I put

button.HelpTopic = "Photos"

It opens the CHM to photo's.htm

If I was to change it to

button.HelpTopic = "Photos.html"

It opens the CHM to photo's.html.htm

I have checked the Topic map and the photo's one has just got the word photo's
