Dynamic block C#

Hello,

is it possible to insert a dynamic block with C# at a given insert point and rotation
but having the dynamic parameter (in my case a stretch paramter) active at the mouse cursor for specific
distance selection?

you can create a block definition for adynamic block then make a block reference and give it to jigEntity then you can dynamicaly take
your value. i only do it with taking position and angle for rotation.

I create a jig to insert the block, a jig to change rotation and one property, and a command to glue it all together. You could enhance this further to get some really nice results. This is just a basic sample to get the idea.


@autodeskprogrammer: When creating the sample, I, just like you, chose to use rotation and length. So sorry for 'stealing' your idea. But it must mean that we're both on the right track with this solution 🙂
