Hi all,

I'm start programing with ACAD.NET using VB2005. But the vast framework confuses me. Can somebody tell me the different between these statements:

Dim curdb As AutoCAD.DatabaseServices.Database = AutoCAD.ApplicationServices.Application.DocumentManager.MdiActiveDocument.Database

and

Dim curdb As AutoCAD.DatabaseServices.Database = AutoCAD.DatabaseServices.HostApplicationServices.WorkingDatabase

or

Dim tm As Autodesk.AutoCAD.DatabaseServices.TransactionManager = curdb.TransactionManager

and

Dim tm As Autodesk.AutoCAD.ApplicationServices.TransactionManager = curdb.TransactionManager

Are they the same object ?

Thanks,
Alan
