defining a Block from a 3dSolid at runtime

hi
could someone please tell me how i can make (define ) a block from a 3DSolid at runtime.

any help would be most appreciated

in other words, the program draws a box then it modifies it ( slices it, subtracts it ... ). After all this is done i want the program to turn it into a block.

What you should do is just create a new block and add the solid to
the block and slide and dice it there. The way you do that is not much
different from how you add a new object to the model space block,
except that you have to create the new block first.

The objects in model space reside in a block called Model_space.

So, rather than create and manipulate the solid in model space,
and then move it to a block, just create and manipulate the object
in a new block that you create first.

So, that reduces your question to how to add a new block to a
drawing. Searching this newsgroup should reveal some helpful
code.
