Working with AutoCAD 2007 & VB.Net 2005
I am trying to save a copy of a drawings db to other file versions. I am loading the db similar to this:
Dim Db as New Autodesk.AutoCAD.DatabaseServices.Database
Db.ReadDwgFil(FileName, FileShare.ReadWrite, False, Nothing)
Do something to the drawing (eventually) and then...
Db.SaveAs(DestFile,RequiredDwgVersion)
The only versions this method seems to be capable of saving as are 2000 & 2004 where I know AutoCAD 2007 can save R14, 2000, 2004, and 2007 file formats. Why doesn't this method? Am I misinterpreting how to use this SaveAs method, is there something better I could use? Also, on some drawings this method will cause the program to crash or the output file will be corrupted. Any ideas why?
