Creating unselectable entity in Autocad

Hello,

Does anybody know if it is possible to insert an unselectable entity into drawing?
Let's say i create a line and insert it in current drawing. After insertion you can see this line in drawing but you can not select it. I would like this feature for previewing entities, which at a later stage I would perhaps like to insert normally.

You may be able to use a DrawableOverrule to do
that, but I've never tried, so can't be certain.

If your purpose is to draw something temporarily in the Acad editor as visual aid, Transient Graphics may be of help.
