Copy polyline from one drawing to another

Hi all,

I am writing an app where the user selects any polyline. I then must copy that to a different user drawing.

I have tried wblock, deepClone, wblockobjects...nothing seems to work. I have looked through this discussion group and object arx help extensively.

I usually get autocad to abort. Can someone please post an example of how to copy an entity from one drawing to another?

Thank you very much,
Jason

Try searching the newsgroups for sample code.

Odds are that there's already some example
code around for this.

Search for the names of the methods you tried.

I have not found any sample code which helps me. I have searched extensively.

If someone can simply tell me which function or what general approach I should be using, plus any caveats that would be most helpful.

I'm starting to wonder if anyone really knows how to clone polylines from one drawing to another.
