Can I access AutoCad by Java Code ?

Hi, everyone, I want to ask if I can program AutoCAD by Java ? I know how to do it by Visual Basic but Java. Now, I am asked to do it by Java, I am a newbie in Java, so I ask the help from everyone here.....

You should be able to do it as long as you can
access com interop AutoCAD libraries from your Java environment. I think you
need to look for AutoCAD.Application.17 and another name with *DB* in the name.
I think the file extensions are *.TLB and should be in either the AutoCAD
directory or the Autodesk shared directories. The ObjectARX download also
contain several *.TLB files that might work. Look also at
axdb17enu.tlb

Thank you very much Emmanuel. I'll try to do it.

In Visual Basic, I used

Set acad = GetObject(, "AutoCAD.Application")

to get the AutoCAD's handle if AutoCAD is running, otherwise I used

Set acad = CreateObject("AutoCAD.Application")

to create the handle (this means to start AutoCAD)

Really, I don't know how I can do something in JAVA. But I know Microsoft J++ can do it, but .....
