Can anyone tell me something about the DwgFiler?

so it is an abstract class, my question is what this class aims for when designed it? it looks like it dealing with address and binary chunk, anybody has some more samples than the sdk which is too simple.

This class is passed to an object's dwgOutFields() function by Autodesk when it wants the object to serialize itself. Similar for deserialization via dwgInFields(). Its rarely used in 3rd party applications. The custom objects API is not exposed to .NET, but that is where C++ programmers will most often come across it - when their custom objects need to file in/out their own data.

If you explain what you were hoping to use it for, then someone can say whether it is suitable or suggest a better approach.

Cheers,
