C# Api?

Is there an API I can download so that I can program autocad apps with c sharp?

Also, does autocad use DirectX or OpenGL?

Thanks in advance,

Devin

ObjectARX supports C# through what are commonly called "the .NET wrappers";
the .NET wrapper assemblies ship as part of AutoCAD.

Can you show me how to connect with the application that way? Once I have the app I should be OK. But is there a good book for managed autocad?

Thanks,

Devin

Is there is problem with the samples that are
included with the managed wrapper API in the
ObjectARX sdk ?

Below is a link to the help files/sample files

http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/item?siteID=123112&id=773180

You can also look in

D:\Program Files\Autodesk Product\Sample\Autodesk Product API\CSharp

for additional samples.

Good luck

It may only be 2006/2007 products

does your product have the NETLOAD command?

No it doesn't . How does this apply? By that I mean, do you have to compile your project to a specific format or just to a dll class build?

This means you only have the ActiveX API to use and will have to compile an exe or an ActiveX dll for use by VBA.
