Hi,

For the BoundingBox, look at the Entity.GeometricExtents property.

You can find some docs and tutorials here:

Hi,
Thanks a lot for the reply. I will try that. Can you please suggest me where to search for the documentation in my machine. I tried searching in the autocad installed folder but couldn't find it. I want to know where I can find .Net api.

Hi,

You won't have any .NET/ObjectARX documentation on your machine if you didn't install it by yourself.

Download and install the version(s) of ObjectARX corresponding to the autoCAD version(s) you're using from:

http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/item?siteID=123112&id=785550

In the newly ObjectARX 20XX created folder(s), the 'docs' sub directory contains the chm help files (arxmgb.chm for the .NET API).

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I have installed the above files. I had a doubt if objectarx and .net api functionality is same.

Thanks

The managed AutoCAD .NET APIs are mostly wrappers for the unmanaged ObjectARX ones.

See:
