Autodesk MAP2006: Exporter event firing?

This post is for those who do Autodesk MAP .NET API programming.

I am working on a project that exporting selected MAP entities (mostly
polygons) to shape file, using classes in Autodesk.Gis.Map.ImportExport
napespace. Everything works as expected except one thing: the events with
Exporter class does not fire when my code runs the first time after a
drawing is opened (the events should fire on each entity to be exported). If
I run the code again, envets would fire correctly (i.e. on each entity).

Since I handle the events to determine exactly which entity (by its
ObjectId) is exported or errorred out, so that at the end of exporting, an
exporting summary is presented to user, the missed envent firing always
makes the exported entity count one less than actually exported if you only
run the code once. Of course it is radiculous to ask user to always run the
code twice.

I'd like to know if someone has coded Map's Exporter in .NET API and had
similar issue?
