ADT 06/07 -- Sheet Templates and Xrefs

Is there any way to create an office-wide template that will reference
project-specific xrefs?

I guess what I'm looking for is a combination of hard-pathing and
relative pathing--ie, not ..\..\xref.dwg which specifies an explicit
number of directory levels from the current drawing, and not
C:\MyProject\xref.dwg because this won't change per project if it is
hard-coded in the template... But something more like
<%PROJECTDIR%>\xref.dwg

I could eliminate the path altogether, but then there is never any
guarantee that the correct project-specific file will *always* be loaded...

Any way to accomplish this?

Really?

I thought that you can do *anything* with .NET;
if you set your mind to it?

did you figure out a way to do this?
