Accelerator Keys

Hi All,

VBA controls have a property called Accelerator which allows you to use the
Alt key to select one of the controls rather than clicking on it. I can not
seem to find the equivalent of the Accelerator property in VB.NET. Can
someone point me in the right direction?

TIA,

Rob

Just prefix the character you want to serve as the accelerator key with a '&' in the text property.

One thing I am confused about... when the form loads, the access keys are
not underlined until I press the Alt key. Is there a way to get them to
fire when the form loads?

TIA,

Rob

That is a Windows feature. To see/change it:

Right-click desktop screem->Properties->Appearance tab->Effects...
button->tick/untick the check box of "hide underlined letters for..."
