wrong orientation of imported ptx files

when we import a ptx file into navisworks it has the wrong orientation, see attached picture. We then use a lot of time changing the orientation vector - but I would like to know if there are a way aroud this - f.x. by changing the default orientation vector for imported ptx files.

It is strange because when import the same ptx to other Autodesk porducts like, autocad, revit or recap - everything is orienteted correctly.

thanks

Perhaps this is a possible workaround:

Create a separate, new NWF file

append all PTX files

Save as NWD

in the model you really want

append the NWD

then select it in the selection tree,

use File Units and Transform to change the rotation (90 about Y ore something like that)

Hello,
I have found another solution.
As first model, append an CAD model
Then, append the PTX files
Now, they are orientated upwards
After appending all, you even might detacht the first CAD model
