transparent spot when rendering image

Hi,

I'm trying to render good quality image, but the result is always bad (see attachment). I tried with the recommended low, medium and high quality inside the Presenter window but I always got those transparent spot. Must have a setting I missed?

Thanks

This can unfortunately happen when there is a large model or ground plane. It has been reported to development and we hope to have it resolved in a future release.

In the meantime the workaround is to audit the model to hide and spurious geometry that is far away from the main model. If this is a large model then either hide the ground plane, or if this needs to be seen, hide parts that are not going to be visible in the render.

Please let me know how you get on.

Yes, I work in a very large model. First I tried to change the clipping plane for far object and set a small number but it didn't work. However, it works when I hide what it's not visible in the rendered image.

Thanks

That's good to hear. Yes the clipping plane is there purely to improve real time viewing if you have difficulties.
