Timeliner Configure Settings

I've searched through the forum and Google and can't seem to see if there is a way to export/import the Configure options for Timeliner. I can't imagine they would need to be created each time. Can anybody fill me in on the secret handshake?

Create an NWD with all of you configurations set up in it, the use it like a template file.

open it first then append that file with all of you modeol files.

Hello,

I know this topic is old, but how do you use that file like a "template" in navisworks? I create the nwd file setup in it, I tried append files in this file, I created a new file and append this file and others files, but did not work? Could you help me?

The template is a prefilled file. Then open the file, do a save as, and then add stuff to it. You don't create a New file, reuse the "template" file as your starting point.

Thank you for your reply,

But didn't work for me. When I append a file all settings disappear. I tried append the file that contains the settings firts, after I tried appended in last. I tried using a .nwf file and nwd file, but didn't work any way. Do you have any idea to hel me? I'm using Navis 2020 version.

I can't, I don't have Navisworks 2020 installed to test or provide a video.
