Third Person Size is huge, but settings look correct?

I'm running Simulate 2014.

My third person is way too big please help.

Looking at Units and Transform section, the model units are set to inches, which is correct.

If I measure something in the model, it is correct.

Any other clues for me?

Not sure if this matters but the model is from Plant 3D 2014.

Thank you for post.  Do you have a screen shot of this image distortion?

In this case, could it be based on the DWG file from Plant?  I have seen this previously when communicating with files that are brought into the NW software’s.  Sometimes a quick cleanup of the DWG file can help remove issues in coordination/communication.  For reference I have included a helpful link below to test on the DWG in Plant/ACAD, and then bring it back into the NW software for testing.

I finally got it fixed.  I believe my default Viewpoint had been deleted.

I ended up creating a new viewpoint, selecting the collision button and changing the 'incorrect' settings to proper ones.  Once that was complete, the Third Person size was back to normal.

Hello,
I have the exact same problem with my Revit 2015 building when i add it on a Navisworks project. The third person is huge. I work in meters. The building is in the right size (I measured it).

On the image linked, the third person is blocked by the wall. So I'm sure he's too tall. What is more, He's not able to pass under some very high openings, which proves he's too tall.

Hi @EricNyh, & @tpi.projeteurs,
@lim.wendy

I am using Manage 2020, I tried all the solution posted in this page. Nothing is working for me.
Do you have any other workaround?

One reason I've seen for super-sized avatars is enormous extents i.e. a project is located out in space at very large coordinates while one or a handful of items are at the origin/0,0,0.  Navisworks tries to second guess the users intentions, and makes settings regarding a visibly offset near/far clipping planes, sets a very high default navigation speed, and monstrous avatar size.  The solution is to resolve the 'dangling bits' at the origin; for us it was typically a missing Civil3D object enabler resulting in some rogue text-based proxy objects at the AutoCAD WCS origin.

Hi @dgorsman,

Thanks for the reply.

I tried many ways and finally get the Autodesk to check, unfortunately we didn't get a permanent solution.

I believe it's a software bug.

Currently I am using the following values to set the Avathar in place with the correct size.

The worst part is whenever the Navisworks is closed and opened again, the values are reset, and I have to keyin again.
